Author Guidelines
Kindly be aware that the Articles must encompass the ensuing components, each of which is detailed further below. It is important to note that for other types of articles, the order may not be obligatory. Please refer to the subsequent sections for additional specifics.
Cover Letter:
All submissions to ChemBioNexus must be accompanied by a cover letter affirming that:
- The manuscript is entirely original and has not been published, submitted elsewhere, or under consideration for publication in any language.
- All authors have endorsed the manuscript's content and contributed significantly to the work.
- All authors consent to the submission of the manuscript to ChemBioNexus.
- Affiliations, email addresses, and postal addresses of all contributing authors are provided, designating one author as the corresponding author.
Abstract:
Concisely (within a limit of 250 words), summarize the investigation's scope, obtained results, and major conclusions in complete sentences.
Introduction:
Concisely provide relevant background information related to the research while maintaining conciseness.
Methodology:
Offer a clear and well-referenced description of the methods used, ensuring that all experimental procedures are sufficiently detailed for replication. Specify the manufacturer and location of named medical equipment and instruments if applicable.
Results:
Present experimental data using appropriate tables and figures accompanied by relevant descriptions.
Discussion:
Engage in the interpretation and significance of findings, providing objective comments concisely.
Conclusion:
Follow the discussion (under separate heading) with a brief conclusion paragraph (maximum 8-10 lines) summarizing the study's findings.
Acknowledgments:
Offer concise acknowledgments that might include financial support details, along with grant numbers if applicable.
Author Contributions:
List general contributions for each author, e.g., "XYZ designed experiments and assisted in manuscript writing."
Conflict of Interest:
Declare competing financial or non-financial interests, including this information in the manuscript. Refer to the journal's policies and guidelines for more information.
References:
Follow AMA style (11th Edition) for references, providing numbers in superscript in-text citation and listing them in order of citation. Include journal names abbreviated according to the PubMed Journals Database without DOIs.
Figure Legends:
Compose brief and specific figure legends on a separate page following the References section.
Tables:
Present essential data using tables, avoiding duplication of text content. Ensure tables are editable and numbered sequentially, with citations in the text.
Figures:
Sequentially label and cite figures and images in the text. Include them within the text at the appropriate points. Larger figures and tables can be supplementary material.
Graphs, Histograms, and Statistics:
Use individual data points, include error bars' descriptions, extend axes to zero (except for log axes), and provide statistical analyses for independently repeated experiments only.
Abbreviations:
Define abbreviations at their first usage in the text and use full terms when terms are used less than four times.
Reuse of Display Items:
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for reused tables or figures. Obtain prior permission from the original source before submission.
Supplementary Information:
Peer-reviewed material relevant to the article's conclusion, not included due to space, is posted on the journal's website and linked to the article.
Formatting Style:
Use A4 paper size with 1-inch margins, single-spaced text. Number all pages and lines. Apply Times New Roman font, size 12 for text and 14 for headings. Ensure distinct colors and appropriate hatching patterns for graphs. Follow metric units (SI units) as fully as possible.
Language Editing:
Non-native English speakers are encouraged to have their manuscript reviewed for clarity by a native English speaker or a professional language editing service to improve language quality and understanding.
Please note that the journal provides language editing (free of cost) only for accepted manuscripts.
Revision Submissions:
Authors are requested to include the following when submitting a revised paper after review:
- A letter of reply outlining in detail how you have responded to the reviewers' concerns. If you don't agree with any of the reasons made, please explain why, in your letter.
- A revised manuscript that has been annotated to show the revisions made in response to the reviewers' suggestions, for the benefit of the Editors and reviewers.
- A text that hasn't been highlighted or otherwise marked up.

Case Reports
Case Reports: Case Reports must offer distinctive insight into the disease process or potential uses for diagnosis.
